I feel like it's a plausible theory. Dinosaurs, The Mayans and so on have been wiped out so why not an ancient people like that? I'm not sure if it would have been due to a nuclear war or what but that doesn't seem like a far stretch.

This is one of my biggest fears! A few years ago a big sinkhole opened up under this guys house a few hours from me. He was asleep at the time and went down with it. That was one of those stories that stayed on my mind for months after.

Yeah, I heard about this because my mom always has feeders up. Luckily I don't think it spread to our neck of the woods but it's still weird either way. Really makes you wonder what's out there and being spread around.
