Black eyed kids

Has anyone heard about this? The are supposed to be kids the show up at your house at night with completely black eyes asking to come in. And if you let them in something bad will happen to you.

Wasn't there a horror film about this? I could have sworn there was. I thought it might have been Children of the Corn but I looked and this is not what I am thinking of. I remember seeing kids in a movie with blacked-out eyes but I can't place what movie it was.

I haven't personally encountered those black-eyed kids, but there seems to be accounts of eyewitnesses that they exist. Luckily, they don't exist in my country.

I haven't heard of anything like that in my country but it sounds like a horror movie. I think those are myths told to children just to make them not to invite strangers in the house.

I've heard of them before I don't think there's any reality to it. I think it's just a urban legend to scare people. But if I'm ever visited by some kids with black eyes I think I will just not answer the door

If this were true why is it we do not hear of them now or even any real person giving an account of their experience if any?
