Ancient Reptilians: The Unanswered Mystery of the 7,000-Year-Old Ubaid Lizardmen

It is a commonly accepted view in mainstream archaeology that civilization started in ancient Mesopotamia with the great civilization of Sumer in what is now modern-day Iraq. However, at the beginning of the 20th century, archaeologists excavating at Tell Al’Ubaid in Iraq made an unusual discovery when they unearthed several 7,000-year-old artifacts which appear to represent humanoid figures with reptilian features.

There is this guy named David Icke who talks about this alien reptilian race that has been on Earth since before man. He thinks they are the Illuminati and are controlling mankind's future.

I've heard of Mr. Icke before but think he is just a scam artist trying to convince people of his theories so he can make money off them. Although the theory of an reptilian type race existing could be true, I don't think his version is believable. I think he got his inspiration from a TV series back in the 80s called "V" were reptilian aliens came to the Earth to harvest humans for food.
