In 1990, a 14-year-old girl ran away from her Texas and disappeared; six months later, her body was found hundreds of miles away in an Illinois barn. Agents tracked down a trucker who they believed was responsible for over 50 murders. Investigators knew they had to stop this menace of the highways.

I think that serial killers in the transportation industry are more common than people think. I use to drive trucks over the country. Listening to the way the truck drivers talked, you would swear that half...or at least a third of them were serial killers. This is just my opinion.

I imagine that a lot of serial killers probably gravitate towards that field of work. Just like child molesters gravitate towards work that involves children. If you drive trucks, you could kill someone in one state and be 10 states away before the body was found.
