The World's End Murders is the colloquial name given to the murder of two girls, Christine Eadie, 17, and Helen Scott, 17, in Edinburgh, in October 1977. The case is so named because both victims were last seen alive leaving The World's End pub in Edinburgh's Old Town.

I know the science of forensics has come a long way since these murders took place, but damn don't I wish for the time when no murders will ever take this long to solve.

His future crimes should be blamed entirely on the justice system. How can you give someone only 10 years in prison for brutally raping and killing a 7 year old. And what did they think he was going to do when he got out.....become a law abiding citizen???
