From wikipedia.org..."The Philadelphia Experiment is a conspiracy theory about a military experiment supposed to have been carried out by the U.S. Navy at the Philadelphia Naval Shipyard in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, United States, sometime around October 28, 1943. The U.S. Navy destroyer escort USS Eldridge was claimed to have been rendered invisible (or "cloaked") to enemy devices. "

Well, I think that it was used to invisibly attack the enemy, but I must see proof first to believe that it happened.

I think it did happen. I actually watched a documentary one time that said that Albert Einstein was helping the navy with the project.

I watched a documentary about the event that said that when the ship reappeared, some of the sailors aboard were fused into parts of the ship and died

I did not know about Philadelphia Experiment until I bumped into this thread. I checked the Wikipedia link and I found this topic to be really interesting. I would like to read more on this before I conclude this is real or just a conspiracy theory. I believe most of the experiments related to the US Army are the truth that is exaggerated.

I remember hearing about the Philadelphia Experiment growing up. Even tho some say it is a hoax, I always believe that there is a element of truth behind stories like this.
