Has the recent mass shooting made you feel unsafe?

I remember years ago when the Virginia Tech shooting happened. I was sitting in my college class room the next day when it really hit me....that someone could just walk in out of nowhere and start shooting. Since then I've always felt a little unsafe when I was in a school.

I guess it depends on where you live. If you live in a high crime area would these recent shootings make you feel less safe... probably not. It just goes to show you that nobody is really safe when you think about it

Not really. I live near a military base in a some what high crime area. But I don't feel either more safe or more unsafe now because of the resent shootings

These shootings happen so often now it's hard to keep track of them. As soon as you start getting into watching the tv coverage of one...another one happens. After awhile you just get numb to it and it just seems like a normal news story.

About 16 years ago, on average 10 people used to die in my home country. The reason for these deaths was the armed insurgency. The state and the rebel were fighting for the control of the state. However, the government and rebels decided to sit for peace talks and the war ended. I can understand how it feels to live in a place where people might die from bullets at any moment.
