What are the freemasons?
Does anyone know anyone in or involved with the freemasons? I'm just curious to know just what their real purpose is and what goes on inside the organization from someone with first-hand knowledge.

Re: Futuristic prison concept promises rapid rehabilitation using Synthetic Memories
Nice concept, but it would never happen...at least not in our lifetime. There would be way too much opposition to it. On one side, you would have people saying that it was cruel and unusual punishment. And on the other side, you would have the victims saying that it's not enough punishment because t...

The advancement of technology always amazes me. I truly believe that in my lifetime I'll be able to travel to space

Re: The Giant of Kandahar - Unraveling the Mystery
Amazing story. I've heard about it before. But I'm just curious as to why it's not a bigger story than what it is. Whether it's true or not, it seems like a story that Hollywood wood jump on. I'm pretty sure a movie like this would be a blockbuster hit.

I'm just wondering just how far advanced has the cloning technology gone since Dolly the sheep...because you know they just didn't stop the research because of the laws passed at the time. I know what you mean. I'm just waiting on the announcement of the so-called "First human clone".

I'm surprised that the X jet never took off in the commercial industry. Just imagine how useful it would be to someone with limited mobility. I know I would love to have one, especially if I was older and had trouble walking.

Re: Strange and Surreal Encounters With the Pale Crawlers
Wow! This is the first time ever hearing about this creature...or whatever it is. Absolutely scary. Could you imagine having something like this running after you? I think I'd s**t my pants haha  I think I'd pee my pants if something like this was chasing me  . But, sometimes I do won...

Re: The First-Ever Supercomputer on a Human Brain's Scale
I truly think that the way technology is advancing, we will see "Data" like androids like what they had in the TV series "Star Trek: The Next Generation" within the next 20 years. I wouldn't be surprised if this is old technology. Just like the internet was invented decades befo...

Re: New AI can predict people’s time of death with high degree of accuracy, study finds
Some of this AI technology is starting to get out of hand. Next they will be trying to use it to predict who will be a criminal...like that one movie I can't seem to remember. I like the advancement of technology and AI, but sometimes I think it is starting to get out of control. Unfortunately, I t...

Re: Curse of 'black-eyed child' that haunted British countryside leaving locals terrified
This is the first time I've heard the "Black-eyed Children" being mentioned outside the US. Maybe there's some truth to this urban legend. It would be scary and cool at the same time if it was actually true.
