A security camera at a Mexican cemetery captured eerie footage of what appears to be a ghost girl dashing around at the site long after it had been closed to the public. The spooky scene reportedlyunfolded last Thursday evening in the town of Santiago Miahuatatlán. In the video, a diminutive and somewhat transparent figure bounds into view at the entrance of the cemetery. Perceived to be a little girl, the peculiar form only lingers for a few seconds before exiting the scene and leaving security personnel at the site scratching their heads.

What made the incident particularly unsettling was that the figure appeared at around 9:30 in the evening, which would seemingly preclude the possibility that it was a member of the public as the site closes at six o'clock in the evening every night. Since being posted online earlier this week, the video has gone viral on social media in Mexico with many suggesting that the small figure was a ghost. Meanwhile, more skeptical observers argued that the 'apparition' could have been the night watchman's daughter or, failing that, some kind of security camera glitch. I saw people talking about this before online. No one can really make much sense of it. I always find these sorts of videos fascinating though. I know some things can be explained away as flares, glares, smoke, etc. but other things move too human like to be explained away.
