Canadian Government Releases Image of UFO Downed Over Yukon Last Year

The Canadian government has released an intriguing image of the unidentified object that was shot down over the country's Yukon Territory last year. The media outlet CTVNews reportedlyacquired the photo as well as some enlightening insights surrounding the picture from an unnamed individual who obtained them from the Canadian Department of National Defence by way of the country's version of the Freedom of Information Act. The strange cylindrical object was one of several UFOs that were downed over North America back in February of 2023 following the appearance and subsequent destruction of a Chinese spy balloon that floated over the United States.
Although believed to have also been a balloon, the Yukon UFO was never recovered after it was shot down, which caused considerable speculation surrounding the case that has largely been shrouded in mystery ever since. Now, thanks to the diligence of a Canadian researcher, the world can see the peculiar object that prompted an intervention from a US fighter jet. Thought to have been taken from beneath the UFO, the maddeningly grainy picture shows a white object that resembles a reversed letter C. Ironically, the indecipherable nature of the photo is partially what led to it being kept from the public until this week.
To that end, in addition to the image itself, the Canadian Department of National Defence was also compelled to share emails wherein the photo was distributed among officials who discussed its potential release. In talking about possibly sharing the picture on the social media accounts of the Canadian Armed Forces, one individual posited that, despite the UFO being officially described as "benign," sharing the picture "may create more questions/confusion, regardless of the text that will accompany the post." Remarkably, it was ultimately decided to hold the image back out of deference to "pending U.S. engagement," which led to the photo never seeing the proverbial light of day until now. https://www.coasttocoastam.com/article/ ... last-year/
