New species are being discovered every day. So I do believe that some of these strange animals from the past in folklore might be real.

It makes you wonder if things like vampires and werewolves have some truth about them.

That's always my first thought. Something in me has always felt like there was some truth to them. I'm eager to see if we find out one day!

I think this happens because we are so slow to find varients happening among species now. There is so much in the world in terms of animals, insects, etc. that we can't possibly tract them all.

Due to environmental changes, they likely evolved and change over time to better adapt.
