I've finally taken the plunge to register rather than lurk. I'm mainly curious about new ideas, science and technology, but I'm always a bit wary about the uses to which it is put and the way a lot of discussion about it has been closed down over the last few years. It's an interesting place here, and it's nice to meet you all!
