There are several variations for this one but the sum of it is that the internet is mostly bots now and while people are online communicating, it is few and far in between. It is believed that Reddit is over 70% bots and AI talking to each other. Same with places like Twitter and Facebook. It sounds creepy by what if it is true? How would we know?

This is the first time of me ever hearing this theory. Personally, I think it sounds ridiculous. I'm online all the time and I see others like my co-workers online all the time. I also communicate with family and friends online often. I think that this is just one of those made-up crazy conspiracy theories.

A lot of people don't use the internet every day. I am talking millions. Think of people over the age of 60. Then there are also millions that don't use social platforms as well. I don't think the internet is dead though, else we would not have been able to train AI.
