Why do people still believe in the "Flat Earth Theory"?

With all the different people that have traveled to space from all the different countries and all the satellites in outer-space showing the earth as being round or oval. Why do people still continue to believe and say that the earth is flat?

People believe in flat earth theory for just one simple reason, they are fools. What do you call these people who do not look into scientific evidence that proves the earth is spherical, instead continue to believe in flat earth theory without giving one single convincing argument?

i believe that people believe in things like this because they just want to be or seem different. Why else would someone believe in something that can easily be proven.
