Does this mean that we are one step closer to eliminating blindness? If so, I'm all in for it. That is one of my greatest fears in life.

This is both an amazing and scary time to be alive. On one hand, science has so much potential to do some amazing things like give sight to the blind.... but on the other hand... maybe create the zombie apocalypse
