Previously, scientists have developed tiny beating heart. Now a group of scientists have grown a mini brain. Skin cells are taken from an adult donor and reverted back into stem cells. A stem cell in our body is like raw materials. They can be developed into many different type of cells such as muscle, blood, and brain cells. With this study scientists are trying to understand body development, especially first few months in the womb.

This is my first time hearing about this. Why isn't this plastered all over the news? I guess it just goes to show you what society and the media (in the US) is focused on.

I keep telling my kids that they're probably living in a time where they may not grow old like their parents and grandparents. With the way science advancements are going, they will be able to just replace body parts when they wear down.
