This 2,200 Year Old Mummy is So Well Preserved There’s Still Blood in Its Veins
Ancient discoveries are always incredible to find, especially when they’re entire tombs filled with rare artifacts. Even better is finding a mummy inside the tomb. Well, when archeologists discovered the tomb of the Lady of Dai, they hit the jackpot. Her body was found in one of the most well-preserved states of mummification ever discovered in history, which has provided a great deal of information about who she was and how she lived. https://www.thevintagenews.com/2022/08/ ... &firefox=1

I have seen close-up pictures of Lady of Dai and the body is so well preserved that I always wonder about the ancient technology used in the mmmification. She died in 163 BC, the mummy is almost 2200 years old. Her joints are still movable. This is the most intact mummy ever found.
