How much of the Bible is original?

Post by ricky1874 »

The Bible was supposed to have been written thousands of years ago by various people in different places and times. Knowing that it was pieced together over time and re-written and re-translated over and over throughout the years, how much of it even resembles it's original text? I say...less than 10%. What do you think?

Your analogy actually does make a lot of sense. I'm not religious, but I do think there's some things in the Bible's teachings that are beneficial to mankind. Mainly the teaching of "Do unto others as you would like done unto you". But, unfortunately I believe most people missed that teaching. But, 10% sounds about accurate to me.
