A robotics firm with a history of building dog-like robots has now produced one with a large gun on its back.

How long will it be before this type of armed robot will be put into service by either the military or the police?

This makes sense to me. I'm just wondering how long will it be before it's in the battlefield? I've always thought that the future battles would be fought with robots. I guess that future will be here soon.
