A man eating plant is a legendary carnivorous plant that consumes humans and animal if they are in the proximity of the plant.

Is this real of fiction?

A lot of plants trap insects, arthropods, etc., and eat them (consume nutrients). These plants are generally referred to as carnivorous plants. However, no proof of man-eating plants has been found, they only belong to fiction and myths. I think they did exist in the past, maybe in the age of dinosaurs.

I will have to do some serious study to know if these plants do exist. If they could exist during the Dinosaur era why not now, unless efforts were made to eradicate them from the face of the earth.
