A team of researchers at MIT's Dream Lab, which launched in 2017, are working on an open source wearable device that can track and interact with dreams in a number of ways — including, hopefully, giving you new control over the content of your dreams.
The team's radical goal is to prove once and for all that dreams aren't just meaningless gibberish — but can be "hacked, augmented, and swayed" to our benefit

Re: MIT Scientists Are Building Devices to Hack Your Dreams
This would be amazing if it is true. Just imagine being able to control your dreams and dream about whatever you want. Also, being able to continue a good dream that you started before but woke up in the middle of it. But, I do wonder what the side effects will be. When you sleep, your brain is supposed to rest. Will this device cause more stress on the brain leading to mental problems?
Re: MIT Scientists Are Building Devices to Hack Your Dreams
Sigmund Freud said dreams are wishful manifestation of our mind. If we go by this definition, in theory we can control our dreams because we can control our wishes and wants. If scientists are actually able to invent such devices, it will be wonderful invention to understand human mind.

This sounds great, but what would really be amazing is if they developed a way for us to record our dreams. I think this would really be amazing to be able to record and later view and analysis our dreams.
