Bizarre 'Mystery Creature' Photographed by Trail Camera in Texas
A Texas trail camera snapped an eerie photograph showing a truly bizarre mystery creature that some have compared to a chupacabra. The very weird image (seen in total here and zoomed in below) was reportedly captured last month in the community of Dubina by a device placed by Michael Demel at one of his favorite hunting spots. When checking the trail camera's latest offerings, he was shocked to see an unusual interloper mixed in among the usual native wildlife like rabbits, bobcats, and foxes. "My first reaction was something doesn't look right," Demel recalled of the moment when he noticed the four-legged mystery critter crossing through a field.
Although the hunter indicated that "my first instinct was that it was a monkey," likely due to its somewhat humanoid appearance, his theory is but one of many rather fantastic suggestions offered for the creature's nature."I showed it to neighbors, family, and friends," Demel said, "I got everything from a skin-walker, a monkey, a chupacabra, an alien." Remarkably, when asked about the image by a local newspaper, the Texas Parks and Wildlife Department indicated that the animal was probably not a small deer. That said, otherwise, they could not identify the creature "due to the quality of the image." What do you think Demel's train camera captured? I don't like that people just dismiss this as a diseased animal.I think that it needs to be investigated. There are new species discovered almost everyday. We really don't know what this is until we fully investigate it.

Are monkeys ever even found in Texas? I have been there several times and have never seen any nor heard of people seeing them. I don't think they travel that far up north from Mexico. I mean that is a ways away. Unless it was a monkey that someone had as a pet illegally? It does look like some sort of monkey to me.
